I don’t say this for many things, but the Joovy TwinRoo is a MUST for anyone with twins. When we found out we were having twins, our mindset changed. We no longer wanted what was cute or trendy. We needed practical. We needed products that made our lives simpler and easier. We needed things to be effective and efficient. We needed Joovy!
This is such a smart product on all counts. Looking back, this stroller was how we survived our everyday! It would be that one product that we could not have lived without. We were those people who pushed the height limit on our infant carseats because we didn’t want our days with the TwinRoo to be over. We knew that stroller made our lives easier and we waited until the DAY our son-the taller of the two-hit the 30inch point.
We live an urban lifestyle and rely on an elevator to get us to and from our parking lot. Space is always an issue and getting to and from the car is always an issue. The TwinRoo checked all of our boxes. There are other things that make this stroller one step above the leading brands of frame strollers.
Safety of course is number one. We chose the Chicco Keyfit 30 based on safety reviews and price. The click-in feature huge. Hearing the click is reassurance that your kiddos are securely in.
Beyond peace of mind, they were clicked in very securely. One can bump into the stroller, run into a door (whoops), or knock it with a bag. Basically, life can happen and you are clicked into to knowing your kid are safe.
We originally went with a different brand not knowing about Joovy. I was beyond disappointed that you had to use a strap to secure it. Not only that, despite advertisements, the Chicco Keyfit 30 didn’t fit appropriately in it. We took it back immediately.
The fact that the carseats click in side by side in opposing directions is just plain smart! Many (many) people would comment the stroller and think it was so great that the kiddos could see each other. In all reality, they never really paid attention to one another BUT it did give me a better view of them as we were strolling. Most importantly, it makes the stroller shorter in length.
In the land of tight aisles in grocery stores, you need a stroller that can make a tight turn! Grocery stores, malls, doctors offices are not designed with twins and their rides in mind. When they told me were were expecting twins, someone should have said welcome to the land of inaccessibility. Less is more when it comes to strollers in order to get around.
Due to the side by side design, the TwinRoo is also very sturdy because it is a little wider. As your twins get older, you will appreciate this as you push your height limits of the carseats. We reached the height limit way before the weight but our son was about 22 pounds and daughter 20. That’s 40 some points you will be pushing and the TwinRoo will keep up.
This goes right with design but the fact that I could operate the stroller by myself and many times with one hand says a lot.
We used this stroller every day for a year and 2 months. It was used and abused and withstood all the tosses in to the trunk.
That says a lot about how it was built.
We used this stroller for everything. For us living in a condo and relying on an elevator, this was how we got to and from the car. No matter where we went, we used the stroller. Instead of using the grocery cart at the store, we simply used the Joovy. We added hooks to the handle so we were even more set!
Beyond transporting the kiddos, we used the stroller for feeding time. When they were little, I had to feed them on my own. I would strap them into their carseats and feed one on one side and one on the other. As they got older, we added the handles to the Joovy Boob and they were able to feed themselves in the carseats. We would just wheel the stroller out to the kitchen when it was time for their bottle and they would be all set.
Ease of Use
The TwinRoo is a simple as it gets for usability. It’s simple to handle, fold and unfold. The best is how easy it is to maneuver and push. Its relatively lightweight which is great once the babies start getting bigger!
Thank you to whoever designed this basket. You will use this basket and fill it up! For us, it was our grocery cart! The purse holder, the diaper bag holder! Since the carseats go on top of the frame… it sometimes can be a little difficult to take items out, but the sides are low enough or one carseat can snap out.
It simply makes sense to have 4 cup holders on a double stroller: 2 for mom and dad and 2 for the babies. Other brands don’t think so. It seems silly to mention a cup holder but in all reality, a cup holder turns into a key holder/cell phone holder, a pacifier holder, and a toy holder. It just one more plus to the stroller
From the design, to the durability, size, to practicality, this stroller is just smart. All aspects were well planned and designed with the parent of twins in mind.
As you embark on your new journey with twins, always keep in mind what is practical. You need products that make your life easier. You don’t need double of everything but you do need a Joovy TwinRoo to make everyday life a little simpler.

The new TwinRoo+ has arrived with terrific upgrades and new functionality. This unique frame stroller has been designed with thoughtfulness to makes strolling with two little ones easier and less stressful.
What’s unique about this frame stroller for infant car seats? Well, namely, the infant car seats can be arranged in opposite directions or facing the same way. This allows for complete access to your twins without having to wrestle with the stroller handle or the other car seat getting in your way.
Parents who’ve used the TwinRoo have raved about the ease of use and practicality of this zippy stroller. They also love the extra large basket and the abundant cup holder that is positioned lower than the infants themselves. This prevents anything in the beverage holder from spilling, heaven forbid!

Graco® SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40
The TwinRoo+ retails for $129.99 and the car seat adapters are sold separately for $19.99.

I have been using the Joovy Twin Roo frame stroller for three months now with my infant twins.
There are so many things that I love about the Twin Roo so I’ll just start listing them off! First of all, the opening and collapsing of the stroller is a cinch. There’s nothing more frustrating then not being able to open or close a stroller but this one is simple and quick. It’s also very light so I could easily lift it into the trunk of my car.
We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 and it pops in seamlessly to the frame. I love how the car seats face each other so that when the babies are older they can look at each other. It’s got a great compartment below for extras.I was very happy with how smooth it rides.
Once the weather finally warmed up we’ve taken it all over our neighborhood, and the roads aren’t amazing after a long winter but the Joovy handles the bumps really great!
I have gotten so many compliments from strangers when I take the Joovy TwinRoo out saying it’s such a cool stroller and they’ve never seen anything like it. When we were blessed with twins we knew life was about to get crazy, but this stroller is one simple thing we know won’t cause a fuss. :)Â

With my first child I had a very clunky travel system for getting out and about. Don’t get me wrong – it worked and served its purpose. But for my second child I wanted something easier, something that I could use in a pinch while managing my five year old and newborn at the same time. I found this in the Joovy Roo. I can’t tell you how happy I am with it. I’ve had it for just a few short weeks, but I’m sure giving this thing a run for its money and it is holding up beautifully. The Joovy Roo is light as a feather and I can open it up with just one hand – which is a godsend. I feel as if it gives me the freedom I always wanted because I’m not dreading the big hefty stroller from my first round of motherhood.
And in Los Angeles where a thing called stroller envy actually exists, the Roo provides just that – an envy inducing smooth ride compatibility with a variety of different car seats, and a superb sleek design. The compartments are perfect for easy access to cell phones, coffee cups, keys and more.

We love this stroller! Now it will never fully replace the conventional double stroller for a mother of multiples but while the babies are still in the carrier type car seats it’s much nicer.
First of all it is super easy to assemble. I had a back injury and was still able to assemble it totally independently in less than 10 minutes. It is much smaller when folded than other double strollers. We drive a Pontiac Vibe and we were actually able to go to Costco and fit all of our purchases in the back with the stroller, not stacked in between the car seats and on the floor beneath them.
When we first got this stroller I had recently had abdominal surgery and then shortly later had back surgery and I was able to push it with minimal effort with in two weeks of the back surgery, to fold it and lift it as well. It’s way more maneuverable than the tandem stroller and fits much better into doorways than the side by side stroller. You can also see both of the babies at the same time and not have to stop to do the lean around.  I also loved the large storage underneath, you can fit so much stuff down there and with 4 cup holders there’s a spot for everyone’s beverage. I think the only con is that at some point we’ll have to switch back to the other stroller.

First off, I would like to say that I am a mother of a singleton followed by twins and I wish that I would have had this product sooner… it has been a lifesaver.  I went a different route with my first baby than a lot of my friends because I didn’t like the setup, sturdiness, or push of the snap and go type strollers.  I had used a popular brand of my relatives one day and hated it.  I found with twins I am a lot more open minded to solutions and this stroller is exactly that.
The initial assembly was very simple and quick; the entire process took less than fifteen minutes with my two year old “helping†me the whole time. The overall feel is very sturdy and stable.  It is so nice having a stroller that doesn’t need any attachment to use with Chicco car seats (a rarity it seems in stroller world).  The setup and breakdown when you are out and about is extremely easy and well thought out not awkward like a lot of strollers out there.  I still love the push and feel of my double jogger, but for quick errands, shorter shopping trips, doctors appts, etc. nothing beats this lightweight lightning fast, won’t disturb my sleeping twins option.
My babies are getting a little older now so they do have a time limit that they want to be fastened in anything, especially a car seat which means I use another option if it is going to be a really long day out. Â I feel it would be an even more useful product and would be amazing for long lengths of time too if I would have had it since the birth of my boys. Â It is bitter sweet enjoying it now but knowing how much easier things could have been with this around from the time I took my boys home.
The inward facing design, so they can see each other is unique and really nice.  The only problem I am finding with that, is when I am sitting at a table and wish I could feed both babies side by side and check on them, it isn’t possible.  However, when I am in motion they seem to enjoy it a lot.  I absolutely love the cup holders that are not an upgrade or after purchase add on.  Having them standard is not only economical but great because you know they work and won’t disturb the folding process.  They hold my drink, car keys, cell phone and my wallet which is so helpful. The stroller pushes smoothly and I have no problem attaching my diaper bag.  My only real concern is the non-adjusting handle bar.  I am only 5’2†and if I am wearing heals I find myself almost feeling hunched over.  I can’t imagine how a tall mother would feel pushing it but with longer arms it may hit the same as it does on me.
When folded it is rather flat which makes up for it length. Â Having a stroller that can hold twins is never going to be on the dainty side so I think it is amazingly compact and can fit in my truck three different ways and down the side of my minivan in a pinch. Â I have only ever owned a side-by-side so this is a new adventure for me taking it out in public but it seems to fit in most aisles and turns really well even with the weight of packages. Â As with most double strollers the basket is a bit hard to access but holds a lot of stuff and I found it very useful.
I would definitely recommend this product to a mom of multiples and would steer someone to try out the single Joovy Roo if they were looking for a snap and go assuming that it is the same great product that just holds one seat. Â There are very few negative things to mention but a lot of positive, in general a great product that serves its purpose with ease and a bit of flair.

Parents of twins will get it. Â The beauty of the TwinRoo is that the babies sit side-by-side and opposite so they see each other. Â When they are a little older, they can even hold hands. Â Parents love that the TwinRoo is easy to push and maneuverability is amazing because it is shorter than other twin frame strollers. Â Such a beautiful picture!
