Get A Grip with the Joovy Hook: Pregnancy & Newborn

The October issue of Pregnancy & Newborn features picks for best seats in the house by their parent panel. By ‘best seats’ they mean top choices in highchairs for mealtime. Included in their coverage is our own Hook.

Featured in their Get A Grip section of ‘hook-on highchairs’, the Hook in orangie is shown ‘front and center’.

From the article:

Hung up over how to make room for a highchair in your already crammed kitchen? You’ll fall for these options hook, line and sinker.

Small but mighty

Joovy Hook, $70, joovy.com

“The Hook features ‘deluxe’ leatherette fabric,’ which is actually really nice and wipes like a dream. The seat is roomy (more than 10 inches deep) and lightweight (just over 5 pounds) – not bad for a seat that can hold diners up to 37 pounds!”

Pregnancy & Newborn, October 2015

For the full-length reviews of the highchairs featured, visit pnmag.com/highchairs

We’d like to add that the Hook comes with it’s own travel bag and is available in orangie, greenie and black. Perfect for day trips, travel and use at home. Check it out here!

Letters

I am a mom of 2 kids ages (2 yr. and 6mo.) and just started using the Boob Joovy bottles for my daughter about 3 months ago when I had to return to work for 12 hour shifts. Prior to me finding the Boob bottle, I tried Dr. brown, Playtex, Avent, and Tommie Tippie with no success of her latching on. We even had some trouble with the Joovy boob until I saw the natural nood nipple and I decided to try that. This has been the only nipple that she latches onto every time. It has made me feel better about going to work, knowing she will take her bottles easier while I’m away!
The nipple has similar features of the Tommie tippie that I used for my son, however, it doesn’t collapse and has a unique texture at the base.
The customer service was great when I encountered an issue with my bottles leaking.
Thank you!

She Wasn’t Sure About a Bottle

unnamed

Baby Reese likes to nurse. She hasn’t been too hip to try or take a bottle, especially when it’s mom serving it up.

Mom recently introduced her to the Boob Baby Bottle with the Naturally Nood Nipple and, at first, she wasn’t having it, but, she wasn’t screaming either. Then, mom,  “fed her and offered it again and she took it, NO PROBLEM! Very good news for us! Progress for sure for my bottle hating baby!”

Check out the Joovy Boob Baby Bottle here and the Naturally Nood Nipples here. Breastfed babies will find three distinct features to their liking: they stretch, are soft and they have wrinkles and bumps.IMG_3075

The Boobs are Wonderful! So is the Caboose VaryLight!

Dear Doodie,

My husband Michael and I are proud to announce the arrival of Anthony James on November 21st, 2014. He is a blessing!

We are also blessed from winning the contest. We love the Joovy products!

The Caboose VaryLight feels so durable and smooth. Anthony loves riding in it. It also fits in the back of our car, a Subaru Impreza hatchback, without any issues. I like that I am able to easily fold and unfold it.

The Boob bottles are wonderful. I breastfeed, so I don’t use them everyday. I do pump though, so that Michael is able to feed Anthony sometimes. The pump attachments have been very helpful for that. I haven’t had any issues with the bottles. They are easy to use. We have a couple other types of bottles, but this is our favorite one. Some of our other ones have a tendency to leak. The plastic on one of the other bottles becomes too hot after being in the bottle warmer.

Sincerely,
Barbara, (Anthony’s mom)
