Thanksgiving {Joovy Tuesday}

As we show thanks this week, we’d love to hear about someone in your life who you are thankful for.  Share a story about this person and how they’ve impacted your life and the person you are today.  Teacher, mother, brother, sister, aunt, father, foster parent, spouse, friend?  Share a brief story or reason you are thankful on our blog for an entry to this week’s Joovy Tuesday.  It doesn’t need to be long but we honor each and every one of your thankful stories.

Another way to enter our Joovy Tuesday giveaway this week is to share a thankful photo with us in our November {I am Thankful} Photo Contest.  If you choose to enter this way, you’ll be entered in both today’s giveaway as well as the monthly photo contest.  Two chances to win $100 towards the purchase of a new Joovy product!

I am thankful for my amazing husband, Mike, and our sweet baby boy, Jamison, who just happens to be my husband’s “mini me”. We have a joovy Kooper and can’t wait to use it as soon as Jamison gets big enough to sit in it!

I am thankful that I get to have moments like this with my son. We lost his twin brother to SIDs 3 months ago and everyday with Sullivan is a gift. He is just starting to get mobile and we had thought about a Spoon walker or a Baba Sling or a Tricycoo for when he’s a bit older. He is our light and our way forward.

I am SO thankful for our 4 children. It was a long road to parenthood but we made it! My husband and I suffered through four miscarriages before and between our pregnancies and it was a very difficult time. But we are so grateful that God has blessed us with our beautiful children!

I’m not sure what product we’d use it towards! There are so many good ones to choose from! Maybe a bicyoo???

Kavin with a cinnamon stick. My son has sensory/texture issues and this was one of the last table foods we managed to get him to hold and try. Hes coming along after a major regression and I am so thankful to see improvement! I’d use the giftcard for a Tricycoo for him. My daughter and I are double jointed so I guess that makes us Joovy!

I’m most thankful to have my son. He was born 2 months ago and I’m thankful i’m able to meet all his needs as I was afraid i wouldn’t be able to since I lost my job while pregnant. I’m thankful that I’ve been blessed by help from others and that now I’m able to provide for him and able to give back to families who are in the situation i was financially.
I’d use this gift card (if i won) to buy the Charcoal Grey theBabaSling since my baby has colic and he needs to be held close but I also need to do things around the house, I’d love to babywear so i don’t’ have to sacrifice either.
Something Joovy about us (my family) is that we speak fluent spanish, english & italian 🙂

I’m thankful for fall leaves, and babies who eat them.

I’d buy a hook chair because my son would be the best kitchen helper while sitting in one of those fab little numbers at our kitchen island.

Something Joovy about our family: We were almost on House Hunters when we moved from our 300 year old house in Germany (we lived for 6 months prior to kiddos) to the Chicago ‘burbs! Buuuuut, too many Chicago shows, they said. Got through prelims and everything!

I am so thankful for our family’s health this Thanksgiving. Last year, we were in St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital for over five weeks, including Thanksgiving. Our older son was having an ulcerative colitis flare up that ended with his colon being completely removed. He was unable to eat or drink anything the entire time. This year, he is completely healed and will be eating all the turkey and fixings his little heart desires!

Photo caption: This is our younger son, Carson. He always puts his fingers up to his mouth as if he is deep in thought! He’s really just thinking about his next bottle. He is thankful for food! He is only 9 months old and is 25 pounds!

Something Joovy about me: I have broken the existing world record for donated breastmilk! I can continue donating until Carson is a year old, so Guiness will not make it official until I am finished. The existing record is 11,117 ounces, and I already have over 15,000 ounces to date. The milk is given to premies in NICU’s all over the country.

Joovy product I would buy: one of the double strollers that you offer.
